The Bernese Mountain Dogs have been a big part of my life since the 1990's, when I got my first BMD Nelli (Maroussia Lida-Leonissa). Before Nelli I had been involved with dogs and other pets already over a decade. In my childhood home we had a Labrador and a few cats. With Nelli I've become more and more involved with the Bernese, first we went to obedience courses, then shows, then I trained to be an obedience-trainer myself. I am actively involved in our region's Bernese club and I am also a member of the Swiss Mountain Dog Club of Finland. One of my many hobbies with my Berners is Therapy Dog -work, we visit e.g. hospitals. After a while since I got Nelli, I became very interested in breeding - and started to gain my knowledge about that subject. The first litter was born 2002. Since those days I've picked up a lot, and I still try to learn more about the Bernese Mountain Dog, and the studying never ends, I hope! The Bernese Mountain Dog is, with its wonderful family dog qualities, also a versatile breed for obedience, drafting etc. That's why I, in my own breeding, pursue longevity, health and excellent structure - qualities which are vital for a working Berner. I also aim for stable temperaments, and our bitches used in breeding are temperament tested.

Besides all these things it is very important to me, that our Berners live happy and active lives as family members in our home. Also the puppies are part of our family, until they move to their new homes.
